DBS Supplier Excellence Awards for 2020 – Sustainability Project of the Year

SFA Asia Ltd had pioneered the “GREEN” concept uniform in HK. Approximately seven bottles are recycled in the construction of each Velocity uniform garment. They had also applied sustainable/data driven order placement workflow for the whole order placement cycle to align with DBS goal to be digital and tech driven company. During the COVID-19 period, DBS staff can place order to purchase uniforms without actual “face-to-face” fitting. This project reduces environmental pollutants footprint through reducing consumption and improving overall efficiency while also creating and raising awareness of the importance of sustainability amongst DBS staff with daily wear of green uniforms that are made by recycled polyester, an innovative fabric made with recycled water bottles.
